About the Surgeon

Dr Rebecca B.Singson is an Obstetrician Gynecologist from the Philippines practicing for 31 years three major hospitals: the Makati Medical Center, the Asian hospital and Medical Center and the St. Luke’s Global City Medical Center .

She took her BS Biology in UP Diliman graduating Magna Cum Laude then proceeded to take Medicine in UP-PGH. She specialized in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Makati Medical Center and placed no 7 nationwide in the Diplomate Board exam after which she did postgraduate training in London, Rotterdam, Croatia and Italy.

She was the founding Chairman who organized the Dept. of OBGYN of the St Luke’s Global City Medical Center when it first opened in 2009. She has been an advocate of Minimally Invasive Surgery, having started Laparoscopic Surgery since 1993. In 2010, she trained in Celebration, Florida for Robotic Surgery and became the first Head of the Gynecologic Robotic Surgery Program of the St Lukes Global City.

She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Philippine Society of Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy, the Philippine Society of Gynecologic Endoscopists, the Philippine Association of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons, and a member of the The American Assoc of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

She is the Head of the Aesthetic Gynecologic Service, Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Asian Hospital and sits on the Board as the Head of the Membership Committee of the Asian Society of Gynecologic Robotic Surgery. 

On the Sept 2019 issue of the People Asia Magazine as one of the Women with Style and Substance. Never stopping to learn, recently obtained a Master’s Degree in Hospital Management . On Feb 2021, she was chosen by Aspire Magazine as one of the 100 Most Inspiring People .
